Questions nobody likes asking.
What is a dead man's switch?+
A mechanism that acts when you stop responding. In Deadman you check in with your fingerprint. If you stop, your release plans pay your heirs, tier by tier.
What does the coercion PIN do?+
If someone forces you to withdraw, enter the coercion PIN. The vault locks on-chain without a sound and the withdrawal shows a fake timeout. Nothing moves.
How much does a check-in cost?+
Nothing. Kora sponsors the network fee, so the check-in key never needs SOL.
What does Deadman charge?+
Only when a tier is released: 2% on the Solana rail, 3% on private channels. Or the optional monthly plan of 10 USDC every 30 days with a 0% fee.
Who can receive the funds?+
Any Solana wallet, or someone without one through a Cloak claim code. Each plan can have up to 8 tiers, paid in order.
When is mainnet?+
The alpha is live on devnet. The target is a Solana dApp Store release in Q2 2027, after an external audit.
